Today, I am going to give you the 4-1-1 on currency and money in Colombia.

First of all, you should know a little bit about Colombian currency. The official currency of Colombia is the Colombian peso (COP). The Colombian peso exists in both bill and coin form, and is most commonly found in denominations of hundreds and thousands.
